In his words: I love this business and I put my heart, soul, mind, and body into it to help people with their personal finances. Knowing how to handle finances is very personal for me because of how I grew up. My mother worked 60 hours a week her entire career as a labor and delivery nurse and my dad, rest his soul, did his best, while raising four of us kids in a lower blue-collar household. Mom was the boss. Money was always tight, but my parents made sacrifices to put sports for us first, and as a result, I got to play competitive baseball (first base and designated hitter) from age 4 through D1 college. I was coached by some of the best, Joe and Dennis Barth, and Billy Godwin and therefore value professional advice and wise counsel. Today my wife Cristina and I work to instill the same work ethic and values in our three independently minded children Benjamin, Mariella, and Samuel. I spend a lot of non-work time coaching their sports teams and cherishing our family time.
